Gosh, the shy ones just slay you, don’t they? Sheila is a sweet and gentle girl who likes to take it all in before she joins the party. But when she senses a gentle kindred spirit, she warms right up, approaching oh-so-cutely for cuddles. She is a bonafide perfect girl, according to her fosters. She gets along beautifully with people, dogs… but sorry, not cats. (Chasey time for meow-meows!) She is just the sweetest pup – we are confident that she is going to fluff up and start prancing around when she has a home of her very own! We can see it, Sheila, we can!

Here’s some notes from her foster:

Sheila is shy when first meeting people but bonds very quickly to people and will start asking for pets after about an hour or so. At home when I am around she is very mellow and calm alternating between napping in her doggy bed, napping under my dining table, and following me around.

I’ve been taking her on 30min walks twice a day + 1 shorter walk and she’s been great! She doesn’t pull on the leash and she hasn’t reacted to other dogs, people, squirrels, or geese. She was great riding in my car from SF to Alameda.
