Feeling lucky? You will be if you stumble across Shamrock, a cute, tan and brown chihuahua cutie with floppy ears and the majestic stance of an action hero. Despite his dashing demeanor, Shamrock is a pretty sleepy boy who enjoys toddling around a bit outside and taking lots of naps. Although a bit more unassuming than the flashier four-leaf clover, Shamrock is every bit as much of a lucky charm. In fact, your neighbors will be positively green with envy when they see you strutting around with this senior sweetheart. Shamrock always has time for a cuddle or some scratches, and will lean in to ensure you get just the right spot, so if you’re looking for an affectionate pup, pick a Shamrock today!
Here’s some notes from his foster:
Shamrock is a great dog. He’s fully potty trained and whines when he needs to go out. He sleeps a lot but has energy to go out and take walks or go to the dog park. He eats well and is overall super easy. He doesn’t love car rides but does well when he’s there. He is jumpy with noises and sounds while outside on walks. I think this could get better with time and settling into his new home and being comfortable.
He welcomes pets and loves the dog park and other dogs. He is neutral around cats and doesn’t approach them and I think he would do well with cats friends or dog friends in a home. I’ve never heard him bark even when the neighbors dogs bark it doesn’t activate him. He notices when you leave and will watch out the window for me but it seems more curious to where I’m going than nervous.
He really is the sweetest boy and very very easy.
