His charming grin could melt butter (and hearts), and his lively spirit makes him the ideal companion for an active family that loves to laugh. Whether he’s chasing toys, posing for selfies, or just soaking up the love, Shaggy is the full package…equal parts gentleman and goofball. Ready to add some scruff, smiles, and sunshine to your life? Shaggy’s your guy!
Here’s some notes from his foster:
He slept with us in bed after initially being offered a cozy bed next to ours. He doesn’t bark or growl, and so far he has not been reactive to other dogs, skateboarders, or people on the street. We haven’t encountered kids yet.
He loves being touched and massaged, and he picks comfortable spots to hang out — on the yoga mat during class, on a bed next to my desk while I work, or curled up on a blanket on the couch during TV time.
He’s very bright. I foster and babysit a lot of dogs, and he pushed through my dog door on the first try, which is incredibly rare. He also immediately used the plastic green pee grass outside.
On walks, he’s extremely courteous. He doesn’t bump into things, wrap himself around poles, or drag me around. He’s a lovely little walking buddy. Overall, he’s affectionate, adaptable, smart, and eager to bond.
