This sweet girl arrived on Christmas Eve. Though she has had it pretty rough, that little tail of hers has been wagging every which way from that day forward.
She is 40 lbs and could be 8-12 years old, it is hard to tell. With lots of love and good nutrition, she has really perked up and is a happy girl now!
Shady is very calm and quiet, loves her short walks.
She adores older, gentle children. While she is living with several dogs in her foster home now, she can sometimes be a little selective about her doggie friends. We recommend a home with no cats.
Due to her arthritis, Shady can’t navigate stairs – she is fine being carried up/down! She loves to get to go but is also fine home alone. During the day she has to go out several times, maybe she can also learn to use a doggie door. She sleeps through the night and is ready to start the day when you do.
Shady is a sweetie pie, a little bit stubborn, loves her belly rubs and looks forward to sharing lazy sunny days with her family!
