Everyone wins with Scrabble!

Scrabble is a very cute little yorkie girl. Even though she is a senior – she bops around and has lots of pep! Scrabble is the perfect mix of independent and snuggly. She can entertain herself for hours and loves to look out the window at all the happenings outside. She also will politely ask to sit in your lap so that you can pet her with ease! She is very polite and please asks that she go to an adult only home where everyone minds their manners :)

This little gal comes to us from Oakland where she was found as a stray and was not claimed. Scrabble has been through a lot of changes because of this and is a bit of a delicate flower – but it is not getting her down. She is a happy girl who is looking for her perfect home full of patience and love! If you are interested in learning more about little Scrabble, fill out an application today!

Scrabble needs to be the only dog in the home and because she falls so hard for her person she’d do best in a single person home.

Scrabble is estimated to be 13 years young and weighs 10 lbs.

HERE’S WHAT HER FOSTER HAS TO SAY!

I’m having so much fun with Scrabble, she is a real sweetheart. When she got to my place had a long sleep and when she woke up the next morning she settled in really well. She loves to be held or hang out near me, I’ve also left here alone for 15 – 20 minutes and she was fine being alone in the apartment. She is loving, gentle and affectionate and I’ve never heard her bark.

She loves going outside and going for walks. She can do stairs and hills with no issues. We went for a longer walk and when she got tired she was quite happy hanging out in the sling carrier bag or being carried.

She is learning to use potty pads and will let me know when she has to go so I’m convinced with training she could become much better with her habits.

She is very protective of her toys and will need some help learning how to share. I’ve been designating time for her to spend with her toys and then collecting them when play time is over, I had to retire two of her favorites when she started pulling stuffing out of them. Last night before bed time she allowed me to take a toy directly from her and there was no drama.

She is going to need a patient and loving home. She responds really well to positive reinforcement and treats, I’ve already seen her make positive adjustments and she’s only been here a couple of days.

I’m convinced she is going to be able to find her perfect person!
