Scout comes to us looking fresh from Fashion Week, a Catahoula Leopard Dog with supermodel zing and a bespoke mahogany and black brindle coat to die for. In fact, this athletic senior with soft eyes, a gentle soul and naturally groomed butterscotch eyebrows comes from a shelter, ready to light up a forever home with beauty, intelligence and lots of affection. An eager student motivated by treats, Scout is quick to sit and lie down on command, has plenty of energy, and impressive manners with other dogs and people. Scout seems highly trainable, and already knows basic commands like sit and down. She’s eager to please, she is highly responsive to cues, and appears intuitive with her people.
She is athletic and enjoys walks, hiking trails, and taking in all the smells she can. She would be thrilled with plenty of daily exercise.
She’s treat motivated, sleeps through the night and eats like a champ. Let’s not forget to mention, she is potty trained and can go up and down stairs with no problem.
