Schmidt is a wiggliest and friendliest boy!
He’s a big love bug and so dedicated to his humans. This guy would love a house with a yard and someone who is up for short walks to help his weight loss. He’s lived with other dogs his size and would do best in a home by himself or with other dogs his size. He’s just too exuberant to meet those little mutts :) He’s looking for a home without stairs where he can bop around and help his people around the house!

If you are looking for a dog with a goofy personality who LOVES affection, Schmidt is the mutt for you! When not snoozing away on his bed you can find Schmidt watching you cook, rolling around on the floor, or wagging his tail at your feet. Although he is perfectly happy sleeping and watching you, you will never see a better happy dance then when you pull out the leash to walk him!
Schmidt is a big guy and needs someone strong who can take on 95 lbs of force! Although he is a total love bug with people he has some work to do when seeing other dogs on his walks. He is strong and will pull with all his might to get to them. Schmidt needs a parent who has experience with dogs and is willing to give him some extra help and training with walks.
Schmidt is currently on a diet since he is a bit chunky, but that does not hold back his energy! He loves his walks and always keeps up! Schmidt must be in a cat and small animal (and horse) free home since he gets a little too excited around them. He is house trained and has only had one accident since joining my home. Anyone would be lucky to have this love bug join their family!
