Welcome to Muttville, super sweet, slightly sassy, always snuggly, Sauce! This little Maltese-Poodle gal sauntered into HQ ready for fun and cuddles. She had been out and about in the world for a while, possibly thinking she might do her own Around the World in 80 Days adventure. Eventually she found herself in Merced, but decided maybe the city life was for her! So she found her way to Muttville. From the moment she arrived, it was clear she gets along beautifully with other pups and with all the new people friends she has made. But she did need a little time to decompress and relax. (Don’t we ALL after we’ve been venturing about?) At 11 years of age, she is spunky and fun but not up for running any marathons or attempting high ridge hikes. She will do best with a guardian who is a fan of daily moderate exercise. At around 11 pounds, her forever people should also know, she is not a fan of stairs. She would prefer to be held aloft like the pretty princess she is. If you are ready for a sweet Malti-Poo in your life, Sauce might be ready for YOU! Come on by HQ and arrange to meet up with beautiful Sauce. You may end up with your perfect pup pal.
Here’s some notes from her foster:
She is doing absolutely wonderful!! She slept with us and slept all night. She likes to mosey around the house and try out different dog beds. Sauce found the bedroom and was able to make her way up the doggie stairs to the bed and slept for 2-3 hours.
Sauce wants to know that her person is close by and that she can have access to the person when she chooses too. With lots of love, understanding, patience and reassurance she should do well. She really is a precious bundle of joy. I love to
call her awesome Sauce!
