Chihuahua/Mix

Raised by a pack of huskies in Alaska, Sammy ran front and center as part of the dog sled racing team. He had the signature black and white coat with dense hair. He grew up thinking he was a husky until one day one of the old timers let him in on a little secret. He wasn’t a husky he was actually a chihuahua! News spread fast around camp and eventually the coach found out and kicked him off of the team. Feeling discouraged, Sammy Price made his way to California to pursue the second job he was good at.. Lap sitting! That lasted a few short years before he got tired of moving from person to person. Finally he found his calling! An owner of a night club heard him singing outside one evening and invited him to come in one night for open mic. He eventually got the nerves to do it one Saturday and never looked back. One evening led to several evening and that led to a paid gig. He was the headliner every weekend. His jazzy voice and signature Muttville salute got him lots of attention and a ton of tips. He went on to become a famous jazz singer and sang his heart out for many years. He puts his heart and soul into every performance he does. Sammy Price is definitely the man to talk about!

Here’s some notes from his foster:

Sammy is a sweet little pup who loves to cuddle, maybe a little bit TOO LOVE to cuddle. He likes to be near human during all he’s waking hours, and he likes to be pet constantly.

He enjoys walking, very good on leash, doesn’t pull and not too much distraction while walking. He’s calm around other dogs, he’s curious on little kids and will just need a good intro :)

He likes to sing ( Howl) sometimes with loud music, haha, what a character!

He knows to do his business on training pad. When he wakes up in the morning or when he wakes up in the middle of the night, he goes to training pad to do his business.
