Sammy is a 13 year old female Lab/Italian greyhound mix who weighs 30lbs.
She’s in excellent health, up to date on all her shots and check ups. Recent blood work 100% normal.
Very well behaved, never chews and completely house trained.
I have a dog door/flap which she uses fine.
She walks great on a leash and is good with all humans and loves men.
She is best being an only dog or with a dog smaller than her as she has some reactive behaviors around some larger dogs. This behavior is inconsistent; she has been in a foster home with multiple dogs and has also been fine in doggie daycare settings with multiple dogs. It could be that her reactive behavior is only when on leash protecting me?
She does not get along well with cats and other small animals like hamsters as she has a strong prey instinct.
Indoors she loves to hold down her dog bed but can walk for hours if you want her to. She does fine riding in the car and gets nervous on longer trips.
She comes with all her things; dog bed, leash, food, heartgard etc.
The only reason I’m rehoming her is because I’m moving overseas and the travel and quarantine would be too much for her and is not advised for older animals.
