Sami, oh sweet Sami we love you so much!

She comes to us sadly because her previous guardian was suffering from dementia and was no longer able to care for her. Best guess is that she is a JRT/Corgi/Chihuahua mix. She is a little chonky and a little long and a lot adorbs! She did great at HQ with the other dogs and seems to really enjoy being with people. She is said to be housetrained, she walks great on a leash and is a super sweetie. She was a little bit shy with all the change coming today after being in the same home for 12 years. With that being said, she was brave and perfect.

She is pretty mellow but also enjoys little walks. She gets around well and can do stairs, but she does appreciate some cheerleading with the stairs. She would be great in a chill home. She also has lived with other dogs and cats and does great!

Sami is 12yrs young and weighs 12lbs

HERE’S WHAT HER FOSTER HAS TO SAY!

Sami is a wonderful dog! Fabulous on the leash, she doesn’t really bark that much. She is potty trained, so far no accidents in the house. I slept for 9 hour and so did she. We went out for a walk in the morning and she loves long walks was super excited to be in the park! Sami loves her chicken and rice and has a healthy appetite. Sami would be a great chill dog for the sofa. She seems to enjoy other small dogs, seems a little shy with bigger breeds. She loves people and likes to sit next to me while I am napping or working.
