Samba is a dog with presence…part sweetheart, part detective, and 100% stunning. At seven years young, she’s still got plenty of pep in her paws, but with the refined sensibilities of an adult who understands the value of a good nap. Her radar-like ears pick up on everything—you thought she didn’t hear you get that leash out for her mid-day walk from three rooms away? Think again, she’s already sprinted to be by your side ready to go on around the neighborhood for a walk! This lovely lady has an inquisitive streak, enjoys soaking up affection, and shares her gentle charm with canine companions. But don’t be fooled—behind those pretty eyes lies a master strategist who knows exactly how to position herself for optimal petting. Ready to have your heart stolen? Samba’s already working on it.

Samba is an adorable girl with a cute underbite, peppy step and incredibly soft fur. She’s very spry and easily handles the full flight of stairs to our house. She can even jump onto the couch after a few tries, which is pretty impressive given her size!
Samba loves car rides and going to new places. She also eats well, sleeps soundly through the night in her dog bed, and enjoys short walks. She is a mellow girl at home and loves burrowing in blankets. No yard? No problem! Samba is a refined lady who prefers indoor plumbing (aka pee pads) and I’ve never seen her use any other option.
Samba is incredibly sweet and affectionate once you gain her full trust. Luckily, that only took a day for me. After that, I was her absolute favorite person and bestie. She prefers that new people let her make the first move and set the boundaries. She likes my husband, but lets him know that she still needs him to give her space! She does fine seeing other dogs on our walks and is fine with our cat. She isn’t a barker unless I use the vacuum cleaner!
She is always happy to see us come home, but doesn’t seem to have any problems being left alone. She’s full of character and lots of love. I’ve enjoyed having this sweetie as my sidekick, and know that will be the same for her new family!
