Hey, when you go to the store, can you grab me a face-meltingly sweet chihuahua mix? Actually, can you grab me two? Thanks. Darla and Sadie are an adorably bonded pair who started off shy but, within a few hours of arriving at Muttville, they were hopping onto the bed to snuggle with our volunteers and a few other mutts. Sadie is the little brunette and Darla is her spotted BFF. They take such good care of each other, and they will welcome more besties and beasties into their mix! If you’re the lucky ducky who gets these sweeties as your forever girls, you will always feel like you’re in intelligent company with those alert little faces and bright eyes.!

Darla and Sadie are gal pal #goals and probably the cutest dynamic duo I’ve ever seen! They do every together and take such good care of each other, and it’s been adorable getting to know both of them.
Darla is the more outgoing of two, though Sadie will also eagerly follow what her sister is doing. Both of them can get VERY excited for pats and scritches, and I often wish I had more hands to pet the two of them at once! We often have big group snuggle sessions on the lounge chair or in the bed, where they’ll just cuddle together with you while you chill.
Both are housetrained, polite on leash, and usually like to walk attached at the hip. They’re pretty spry for their age, so they have no problems going for a quick jaunt around the neighborhood. They love going outside to sniff new smells, and they seem to be interested in other dogs we pass by. They also love snoozing at home, curled into each other and having a lazy day.
These two lovely ladies are incredibly sweet, and any home would be lucky to have them. They may be a bit shy at first, but once they warm up, they definitely have a lot of love and affection to offer.
