Ruger is a 9-year-old male Boxer with a striking brindle coat and a distinguished frosted face. Weighing approximately 75 pounds, Ruger is housebroken and crate trained, making him a well-mannered addition to any home. He walks well on a leash and loves car rides, eagerly joining you on any adventure. Ruger is great with people and especially good with kids, and he also gets along well with other dogs. While his behavior around cats is unknown, his friendly nature suggests with appropriate introductions, he may adapt well.
Ruger has been a loyal companion to his entire family, both young and old, throughout his life. Unfortunately, due to difficult circumstances, Ruger’s family had to move to a home where he isn’t allowed. He’s currently staying with the in-laws, hoping to find a new family before time runs out.
Please note that Ruger is not neutered. He would need that after adoption. I would ask the family if they would do that or help financially.
West Coast Boxer Rescue is assisting Ruger’s family in finding him a new home. WCBR has not met or evaluated Ruger, so they cannot attest to his health or temperament.
This is a courtesy post. Ruger. is not a Muttville dog. If you are interested in adopting Ruger. and want to learn more about him, please contact: @westcoastboxerrescue.org or Maurisa at (415)509-4832.
