Rubix is not puzzling at all like the Rubick’s cube…He is straight up easy to love!
This guy lost his guardian because she had to move into assisted living and we know he has been through a lot of change. However you wouldn’t know it! He absolutely loves his people, any people, all people! He really just wants to sit in your lap and snuggle or lay in the sunshine on his favorite blanket! He is a super nice guy and we cannot wait to see who the lucky person is to call him their own. He knows quite a few tricks and is a great walker! When you look up Chinese Crested dogs online, the first thing that’s written is “affectionate, alert and lively” and this fits Rubix to a T! On top of that, he’s very soulful, engaged, and funny. He enjoys a brisk walk and likes running around! He’s house-trained (yes!!) and sleeps through the night (next to me) and when we both wake up he scoots on over for some loving whispers and kisses! He wants to be near his person, especially now, since he has lost his long time guardian. He gets excited for his meals and treats. Rubix makes great eye-contact and he listens. Because he is hairless, it’s important to keep him warm, and protected from the sun. He likes to be on top of my heating pad on the sofa. And since he is mostly hairless by design, no shedding!
