Staff Favorite
Rosita is the epitome of “gentle giant”. She seems equally happy napping or walking around indoors or going for a stroll around the block. She is a champion napper, and at HQ is great with the other dogs! She is truly the easiest dog to walk on leash and is not stubborn at all. If you clip a leash to her collar, she will gently walk in whatever direction you take her without pulling or putting the brakes on. We’re still working on fattening this girl up, but cheese is definitely the way to her heart!

She’s a very sweet and gentle dog. She doesn’t get overly excited about things but seems to take things in slowly. She’s very mellow and seems to enjoy being pet. She loves to take long slow walks and is interested in saying hi to other dogs but doesn’t play and just sniffs and says hi.
Rosita is doing great with house training but also appreciates easy access to the backyard. She loves to nap and take long slow walks with lots of sniffing involved. She’s gentle with kids and although we can’t tell if she likes pets, she surely tolerates it very well. We think she’s even asking for more pets recently!! Truly just the sweetest girl and anyone would be lucky to have her.
