What if a little rose could brighten your day in the sweetest way? Roses is a darling tan Chihuahua, possibly with a touch of Miniature Pinscher, and she truly lives up to her name. A rose by any other name would still be this gentle, loving, and quietly captivating girl. With her beautiful, expressive ears and soft, lovely personality, Roses has a way of making everyone feel at ease. She is incredibly gentle, easy to handle, and enjoys calm companionship over chaos. Roses gets along well with others and brings a peaceful presence wherever she goes. If you are looking for a companion who is equal parts delicate charm and steady affection, Roses is ready to bloom right into your heart.
Here’s some notes from her foster:
Sweet little Roses (I call her Rosie) has been an absolute joy to have in my home. She is sweet, gentle, and loves to give kisses. She is affectionate, but still has a healthy sense of independence.
Rosie sleeps through the night in her own bed, loves to sleep in, is house trained, eats well, and loves to go outside for walks. She does fine at home snoozing on the couch while I work from home and has been totally fine to stay at home alone. With the exception of some quiet little gremlin noises, she hasn’t made a peep since arriving.
One of my favorite things about Rosie is the way she is always asking for belly rubs. She will often stop right where she is and roll over on her back with a goofy look on her face.
On our walks, Rosie seems to enjoy saying hello to other dogs, and loves sniffing for good spots in the grass to roll around on. She does have a decent amount of energy and has really enjoyed going on longer 30-60 min walks.
For any city dwellers, one thing I have noticed is that Rosie is quite fearful of buses and trucks when we are walking in the city. We are slowly working on getting her more comfortable with the scary sounds and she is being a very brave girl about it.
Rosie has so much love to give and I just know she will be such an amazing companion for her forever family!
