If joy is contagious, then Roquefort is going to start the next epidemic. And we don’t want a cure. This happy boy has a constant tail wag, and a truly infectious smile. Roquefort is ready for any adventure-will it be with you?

Meet Roquefort, a senior dog with a gentle charm. He’s a big tail wagger, reflecting the joy and years of companionship ahead. Roquefort is adept at finding comfort, whether he jumps or gets a helpful boost from human hands or stairs, he does this with equal style and grace.
An observer of life, though he is often quiet, he will make his opinions known with a gentle bark, paired with a heartwarming smile. He favors scritches, but between his shoulders, be prepared to make him shimmy! Roquefort does well with a few leisurely walks a day.
Roquefort is a SUPER sweet boy. Overall he is a lovebug, respectiveful, calm, and enjoys playing with toys from time to time. We have a senior shih tzu mix at home and they get along so well! By that I don’t mean they play but they say hello to each other and do their own thing around the house. Roque walks super well on a leash and doesn’t pull or bark at other dogs/cats.
He enjoys short walks to take care of his business and comes back in. He will even use the potty pads occasionally. He is a fast learner. By the second day, he was already crate trained.
He’s just a restful senior who loves to keep you company and sleep ever so cutely. He sleeps on dog beds throughout the house or if allowed he also loves the couch and cuddling next to you. Roquefort enjoys watching other doggos play and observing his human friend’s interactions. He would do well in a home with other furry friends, or by himself. He’s just a sweet boy looking for a home to call his own! Consider providing him a furr-ever home, and make this pooch one of the family.
