Meet Roomba, the senior Chihuahua who’s all about sucking in the excitement of a new and improved life! This little vacuum cleaner of a dog is always on the go, picking up treats and tidying up hearts with her irresistible charm. With a coat as mixed as her interests—white and tan—Roomba is the perfect blend of calm and energy. She’s treat-motivated, and shares her snacks with her doggie friends because sharing is caring. Roomba is like a high-suction vacuum, drawing everyone into her whirlwind of fun and curiosity. If you’re looking for a lively senior companion who will sweep you off your feet, Roomba is the perfect pick!
Here’s some notes from her foster:
I’ve come to realize that small 11 year old chihuahua Roomba is a distant relative to Piglet. With her adorable pig like ears, pink harness and snout. She loves everyone, even people she’s never met and will walk up to them to demand to go on their lap for cuddles and pets. Not even 7lbs, she is the sweetest angel
She wants to be picked up to come on the couch or bed with you and she’ll snuggle all day and all night on you/next to you, only getting up for short bathroom breaks. She snores like she’s a 20lb dog. She grunts and oinks when she’s inconvenienced and when she’s content. She is potty trained and is very efficient when outside. She doesn’t have issues on short walks.
She buries her food if there’s items available nearby to do so. And true to piglet she LOVES food: her food, your food, your other animal’s food, any food. When you leave the room, she no longer has any issue climbing onto the couch herself and climbs further onto the coffee table and helps herself to whatever food or napkins smelling like food are there! She is true to her name as she will look for any scraps on the ground.
I think she’d do well as a solo dog going forward as doesn’t like when other dogs come anywhere near her and her person. She likes to be the center of attention. And has shown no interest in other dogs.
