Rocky is a sweet dog who deserves a nice life! My mom passed away in 2019 leaving her dog, Rocky, to my niece who just passed away on 8/16/2024. My niece and her brother, who lived in my mom’s house in Stockton, neglected Rocky and would leave him inside the house for 12 hours each day while they were at work. He waited, until they got home to let him outside, to pee and poop.
He’s about 11 years old, maybe 60 lbs, has lived inside with dogs and cats, and my mom loved him, but didn’t walk or exercise him outside of the home. When I went to Stockton for my niece’s funeral, I noticed Rocky’s nails were super long, so I cut them. He also has a sore on his back hip but was walking fine. He has never bitten any person or animal and has low, relaxed energy. I need to find a home that will love and care for him in his last years. The house will be sold at the end of Sept so he needs a home quickly.
He has been thru so much, he deserves a lovely ending where he is cherished and loved. Might it be with you?
