Rocky is a 90 pound, neutered male senior German Shepherd Dog. Sweet Rocky loves his humans, his toys, and taking walks in his neighborhood. After many months in the shelter, this is the perfect life for this senior boy.
Like many German Shepherd senior dogs, Rocky has Degenerative Myelopathy, but he has a full life and experiences no pain from his condition. He takes an allergy pill daily, but needs no other ongoing medication.
Rocky is crate trained, house trained and walks well on leash. He loves to hang out in the back yard to monitor the birds and squirrels as well as the skydivers above his San Martin neighborhood!
Rocky prefers humans to other dogs, but he lives in peaceful cohabitation with his two 4-legged sisters. This gentle. loving boy deserves a quiet, loving home where he can share his snuggles and silly playtime for the remainder of his days.
As of 9/18/2013 Rocky is still looking for his new home.
Prior to adoption, all dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm, vaccinated (including rabies, if age appropriate) and microchipped.
