Rockstar, a furry Pomeranian cream puff with delectable ears and a foxy nose, earned his name the hard way. Somehow, this tiny sweetie guy survived being hit by a car, and came to us at Muttville with his health, humor and positive outlook on life fully intact. He’s a peppy and friendly little fella, with bright eyes and plenty of youthful curiosity. Not to be superficial, but he’s totally dreamy too. If you’re in the market for a charming lucky charm with a winning personality, we’ve got your guy.
Here’s some notes from his foster:
Rockstar has been in foster for the past two weeks. Though initially shy, he quickly became very attached to his foster mom! He is very affectionate and cuddly and loves to sit in foster mom’s lap or lie quietly near her. He sleeps in a crate at night and is quiet in the crate when crated during the day. With multiple other male dogs in his foster home, Rockstar will potty right away on walks or when taken outside.
In the past two weeks, he has accompanied his foster mom to work at the shelter and has gained confidence meeting new people. He now does very well meeting unfamiliar people who allow him to approach and offer him yummy treats!
Rockstar gets along well with the multiple male and female dogs in his foster home, ranging from 9 to 35 pounds. He will not fight back if a dog picks on him, but instead will cry out.
Rockstar has been gentle and respectful with the two cats in his foster home. He is so loving with his people! When on your lap, he will tuck his head in the crook of your arm or lean his head against your chest, looking up at you adoringly. Rockstar also does the Pomeranian “spin” or circle, especially in times of high excitement, like before meals or a walk.
