Are you ready for the sweetest, most heart-melting twosome of all time? Are you ready to walk down the street and hear nothing but OMGs? Are you ready for a double weight-loss journey that’s going to be the cutest and most rewarding weight-loss journey that ever happened? Meet Rock (the chihuahua-faced boy) and his BFF Roll (the terrier-faced girl). They love each other, but don’t worry, they love people, too. They are so gentle, good-natured, patient, and bright. When they posed for their photo, they sat there like little models and looked right at the camera! They’ve seen each other through it all, and they are so ready to live their best lives and get all the love and care they deserve!
Here’s some notes from their foster:
Rock (pre-rescue name = Jingle) and Roll (pre-rescue name = Ginger) are strongly bonded to each other and also quick to bond with the humans caring for them. They love attention, scritches between the ears, napping, going on car rides (especially with the A/C blowing), and rolling in the grass. Both smile easily and often. Roll is especially quick to roll over for belly rubs.
Rock and Roll are both overweight, but enjoy getting outside and going on frequent short walks. Roll stops periodically until I give her some scritches, and is really a puddle of love and joy. They wag their tails meeting new people and dogs for the first time on walks, and get along with our two shy cats. I think they will do well in a home with or without furry friends.
Other than needing to shed some weight, they seem otherwise healthy and are not on any medications at this time, but will need a forever home committed to making sure they continue to get some exercise and stay on a healthy diet! Rock has no trouble with stairs, but Roll can only walk down the stairs, although I think she will be able to go up after she loses a bit of weight. They are both housebroken and definitely know that potty is an outdoor activity.
These two sweet seniors like be toweled dry after baths, brushed, pampered, and petted, for which they reward their humans with devotion and affection. This precious pair is ready to share a great deal of love with their future forever family!
