Rico is just the sweetest!
This adorable, hypoallergenic boy came to Muttville after his loving owner of 13 years could no longer keep him. Despite this big change in his life, he is adjusting very well and seems happy as can be.
Rico is a Bichon/Havanese mix and is spunky, friendly, and very outgoing. He loves exploring, meeting dogs, and going for walks. He is totally house-trained and would love to join your family!
Rico is 13 years old and weighs 12 pounds.
Here’s what Rico’s foster has to say about him:
Rico is SOOOOO sweet! He likes to be next to him human and cuddle real close. He burrows under the covers at night. Rico is extremely easy going, mellow, go with the flow kind of guy. He gets excited every time he knows we’re going for a walk. He LOVES walks on the beach!!! Rico runs & hops like a bunny when he gets excited & will even lead the pack once in a while. I’d say we do around 1-1.5 miles off leash & he’s pretty pooped. He stays close by at all times. He is much more active than I would expect of 13 year old dog. Always up for an adventure. Also very happy on the couch with humans. He is house trained but does better when taken out regularly. And he now knows how to use the dog door but likes a human to be outside encouraging him. Rico is the cutest!!!
