Summer vacation isn’t complete without a trip to the coral reefs, and Reef is here to bring the vacation to you! And, you’re in luck, you don’t even need to get wet to explore this lovely Reef (although we make no promises that you won’t be smothered in doggy kisses!). This marvelous Maltipoo has beautiful white curls and rather impressive whiskers that frame an absolutely adorable face – he’s a stunner! Reef is looking for his forever home, and he’s been searching the oceans far and wide for a place to settle in. If you have an undersea abode that is just missing a canine companion to live in it, come meet Reef today! Come for the Reef, but stay for the snuggles!
Here’s some notes from his foster :
The first thing people notice about Reef is his hair. The second is his posture. Somehow, this little guy always looks like a very distinguished gentleman who has somewhere important to be.
Reef is a chill dog, but not in the big-smile, goofy, life-of-the-party kind of way. He likes to play it cool. He’ll act perfectly content doing his own thing, and then, two minutes later, you realize he has quietly followed you into the next room. Sit down, and he’ll eventually inch closer and closer until some part of him is touching you. He wants to be included, he just prefers not to make a big fuss about it haha.
In fact, we’ve never heard Reef bark. The closest he gets to voicing an objection is a tiny little whine when my husband or I leave the house, or apparently just as unacceptable, when we close the bathroom door on him. For someone who works so hard to maintain his cool-guy image, he really does like knowing where his people are.
The dignified act falls apart in a few other ways, too. Reef snores. He sleeps flat on his belly in the cutest, least-gentlemanly positions. And when it comes to treats, apparently cheese is overrated: this boy would much rather hear the crunch of a rice cracker.
