GENTLE GIANT ALERT!! Raymond’s guardian recently passed away, this HUGE lap dog needs a new home!

Raymond’s former guardian, rescued him. He worked for Comcast and noticed Raymond while on the job. Raymond seemed lost and alone. His rescuer became very ill 2 years ago and passed away in March. Raymond has since been with his guardian’s mother who can no longer care for him. He needs more of the love and attention he’s been used to.

Raymond is an absolute love. …And like the popular TV show… “Everybody Loves Raymond.” He’s a housedog, and he appreciates it, too. As with many formerly homeless or hard luck dogs, he knows when he’s got it good. He’s grateful and loves his people. He likes to show his affection by giving lean-in, I-just-want-to-be-close-to-you hugs to those he likes. He is great with all sizes of dogs and older/bigger kids.

Raymond knows some basic commands. He is very bright and learns quickly. Positive reinforcement training (with food) works well with him. he is house trained!! All foods are his favorite… ;o) …He will probably need some consistent reminders from someone new. He rides well in the car, and he does not guard his food, toys or favorite people.

Raymond’s life has been in turmoil, and sometimes he seems to be depressed and grieving. To help bond and cheer him up, he would love a game of “fetch” with his ball.

He’s housetrained and already neutered. He’s guessed to be 8 years old and is overweight at about 130 pounds. …Get that ball, and play "fetch!
