Randall the Miniature Pincher who is anything but miniature. This black and tan boy is fun and exciting. Randall is an active fella who has no problem conquering hiking, stairs of jumping on the bed. He enjoys long walks through the neighborhood and may ask you to treat him to a sundae while ya’ll are out and about, but we suggest maybe a froyo instead. He is always happy and starts each day with a smile on his face. Wouldn’t it be amazing to wake up to a contagious smile every morning? Adopt Randall and you’ll never have a bad day!
Here are some notes from their foster:
- housetrained
- enjoys walks
- loves playing with his people, chew toys, car rides, playing catch
- very polite and sweet
Randall is such a good boy! He is very housetrained. Will let you know when he needs to go potty. Stands by door, and once put paw on my arm with “serious” look on face, we went out and he relieved himself. He is such a smart boy. Loves food puzzles, including snuffle rug, Kong. Loves chew toys. He is pretty active (enjoys walks) and loves to stay engaged with his humans. Playtime is his favorite! Sometimes he does just want to relax in his space and snooze!
LOVES playing Catch! He catches small squeaky tennis ball and brings it back for more play. When he’s had enough he will lie down with ball and stop play. After some rest he’ll come back for more play. He’d do great playing catch in a yard.
LOVES car rides. Very eager to get in car, very excited to sniff out window. During drives, does not bark or stress when he sees dogs outside. When Randall was charged by off leash dogs, once in Duboce Park, once in Baker Beach, he did not respond, we stepped away while owner put dog on lead. Randall is friendly with small and large dogs.
Randall very much enjoyed greeting and receiving attention from three houseguests, he ran down hallway to greet them. Everyone gave him space to say hello, which he did eagerly and he received head pats and scratches.
He is extremely polite when it comes to food, he does not beg and when I’m cooking he steps into kitchen, but after short while steps out of kitchen and lays outside by doorway. At a drive through visit, did not beg whatsoever, he sat quietly and accepted a French Fry when offered.
Sits calmly while I had coffee with friend at outdoor coffee shop. Was fine people watching, occasionally hopped down to sniff or greet a dog. Sat calmly when I took him to local pub during a quiet time. Environment was not very loud. He accepted treat offered by neighbor. Did not react when a loud group of people walked in. Was content to sit next to me with relaxed body language.
