Meet Quinten, the Golden State Worrier… about why he’s not in your lap yet. This super senior Chihuahua may be a seasoned veteran of the court, but he’s still got some bounce left in those tiny paws. Quinten enjoys exploring his surroundings like he’s carefully scouting the defense, taking everything in before deciding it’s time to call a timeout for cuddles. He’s incredibly sweet, loves people, and soaks up attention like a true fan favorite. Despite his senior status, Quinten has quite a bit of pep and curiosity that keeps him engaged with the world around him. He’s also a total team player who gets along well with other dogs and brings calm, loving energy to the locker room. Quinten is looking for a forever home where he can finish his championship season surrounded by love, comfort, and adoring fans!
Here’s some notes from his foster:
Quinten is a sweet and mellow guy with a passion for finding the warmest, snuggliest spot to settle into! He has been a very chill companion the last few days while in my care. He is independent enough to be comfortable alone at home, but he also likes to seek out connection (and spy on humans!)
Quinten days have been mostly full of naps and chasing squirrels in his dreams! The only time I have heard him make a peep is while asleep. He has some appetite but would benefit from putting on a few more pounds. When I go into work, he is alone for ~4 hours at a time and I have not come home to an accident. He definitely knows that outside time is potty time! He is fine going up and down a step, but I carry him on the stairs.
Quinten is a bit vision impaired, but he is able to navigate on his own — it doesn’t slow him down! I usually let Milo smell my hand before petting or lifting him up so as not to surprise him.
Milo is a gem! He has a soft, curious nature will make a great best friend for his future family.
