This adorable terrier/potato mix is an Olympic Splooter. Not only did Quark bring home the Gold in Sploots, but he also won Silver in Smiles. What an athlete! For the next winter Olympics, Quark is planning on competing in Snuggles, a competitive category which experts say he is in a good position to win. We are your biggest fans, Quark!
Here’s a note from his foster:
Quark is a waggy, happy little guy and super well behaved. He sits for treats and waits patiently for meals. He gobbles up his meds easily in pill pockets, never questioning if it’s a trick.
He’s perfectly potty trained and lets it all out on one tree instead of watering the neighborhood. He walks nicely on leash and wants to trot right up to everyone to say hi. He’s usually non-reactive to dogs walking by, but super friendly if a dog approaches him to say hello.
Quark has been pretty quiet so far. He’s only barked twice in the week he’s been with us. He’s only been alone for brief tests for separation anxiety, and so far is quiet and just stares at the door. He gets a little stressed in the car, but we’re trying to teach him cars can mean fun adventures.
He follows us around and loves a good snuggle and lots of belly rubs. He’s loyal and sweet, and just the best dog!
