Meet QQ ❤️
Rescued from a harsh breeding facility in South Korea, QQ is now adapting to a much happier life. Though she was initially fearful, especially of men, she quickly warms up to people she trusts, showering them with affection and kisses once she feels comfortable.
QQ prefers spending time alone and isn’t interested in other dogs, though she’s calm around familiar ones. She’s indifferent to cats and loves her slow walks, although she tends to pull on the leash. She travels well in the car and is gentle with no biting behavior. Potty training is going well, with QQ using pads indoors and doing well on outdoor walks. She’s also great with baths and grooming, though she’s a bit sensitive around scissors on her face. QQ is a bit startled by sudden movements or sounds and isn’t used to being picked up yet.
With time, QQ is expected to continue thriving and will make a loving companion for the right family!
Basic Information
*With People: Loves people a lot and has no resistance to strangers. Once getting comfortable, she follows around, wags her tail, and likes to be by your side. Gives lots of kisses as a way of saying I love you!
*With Dogs: Shows little interest in other dogs but occasionally comes out to greet other dogs first. Feels uncomfortable with overly aggressive dog friends! Tends to display her emotion with facial expressions to familiar dogs.
*With Cats: Is indifferent to cats and passes by them without much interest.
*Separation Anxiety: Has no separation anxiety. Scratches the door when the dog she lives with goes out, but sleeps and does well alone when the family is out.
*Potty Training: Prefers to use indoor potty and is proficient with using pads. Makes occasional mistakes if the potty pad is too dirty. Does well with outdoor potty during walks.
*Hygiene: Cooperates well during baths. Nail trimming can be frightening and cause some fuss, but she gets through it. Is also good with tooth brushing, drying and grooming. Feels uncomfortable with scissors on her face.
*Walks: No pulling on the leash when there’s no one around. When a person suddenly appears, she hides or stops. Needs to be held in a guardian’s arms to cross the crosswalk.
*Car Sickness: Travels well in the car without any signs of motion sickness.
*May bark softly when guests come into the house.
*Is afraid of sudden sounds or movements and not used to being picked up or put on your lap.
*Has allergies and is on an allergy diet.
