He’s endlessly adaptable, bursting with affection, and great with other dogs, whether he’s making friends in the neighborhood, cozying up in a new cottage, or cruising Commercial Street in a canvas tote. At home, you’ll likely find him curled up in a sunny spot, soaking in the good life. Ptown might be blind but with the way he adapts quickly to his environment and settles in we joke that he’s only blind 1/2 the time bc he keeps getting on and off the bed on his own. He still acts so much like a dog that his vision impairment hasn’t stopped this little guy from being a dog.
He’s is SOOOOOOOOO cuddly and sweet with people and will never pass up an opportunity for a snuggle.
He plays with toys when he’s really excited, he does the parrot move onto your shoulder and kisses me when I come home.
He even does a happy dance when he hears the dog food bowls coming out and he knows food is on the way!
He licks me and my partners legs when we get out of the shower as if it’s his only water source and he somehow ALWAYS knows when we are done and shows up in the bathroom ready to go.
He likes to go on walks and bask in the sun!
He does protect his food and he is a classic old man at gets what I call his “night grumps” after 7pm when he gets really tired. He would be best as the only dog in the home or with a dog that has patience for his sass while he adapts.
