Pretzel – lightly salted! Ha! He’s a small chi with handsome unique greyish brown coloring. He is really peppy and adorable. He is a happy go lucky guy without a care in the world. He does really well with people and other dogs. We already heard back from his foster – and he is being the perfect gentleman! He likes to snuggle up in his bed and equally loves playtime and walkies! Super cute and will do great in any home.
We guesstimate Pretzel to be 10yrs young and he weighs 8lbs.
HERE’S WHAT HIS FOSTER HAS TO SAY!
Pretzel is such a good boy! He has the mischievous (but adorable!) face of a troublemaker, but he has been nothing but the goodest boy since fostering him. He has been great meeting other dogs and people and is very friendly.
His house training manners are good – he had one accident overnight, but otherwise has known to wait until he gets outside. I feel that once he gets used to his new schedule, these overnight accidents will also stop. He loves building the perfect nest out of blankets, and will snuggle up with his stuffed animals. He is warming up to me quickly and loves to come over to me for pets and scratches. He is very smart and learned how to use the doggy steps up to the couch quickly.
He is quite energetic and I see him needing at least 2 walks a day of at least 30 min each. Once he gets in his exercise, he is content to nap the rest of the day. It should be noted he is definitely a talker, so isn’t totally quiet, but doesn’t bark at every noise either. Once he settled in, he has been a good listener and understands my directions to stop barking.
Sometimes, Pretzel likes his alone time so would probably do best in a mature household with older kids.
