A new home for Poppy
We are looking for a family to adopt our cute and adorable 10 year old Yorkie mix dog. She has been a wonderful companion for our family.
Sadly, while we would love nothing more than to keep her, we need to rehome her due to a change in our family situation making us unable to give her the care and environment she needs.
About Poppy -
She is spayed and healthy. She is a really playful, happy and inquisitive dog who loves to befriend anyone and everyone. She weighs approx 20 lbs.
When she’s not running around trying to play catch with you with one of her squeaky toys, she loves to sleep by your side as you work, or sit in your lap while you watch tv.
She requires one or two short walks a day and is fully potty trained. She’s also fully trained not to destroy any furniture, household objects or clothes (although she may steal your socks if you keep them within reach!).
She’s generally friendly with children, but tends to do better with older children who know not to do things like startle her or disturb her while she’s eating.
She generally tends to be scared of other dogs, especially bigger ones. So we are looking for a family or individual to adopt her, who does not currently own any dogs or maybe one small dog if they get along .
