Calling all pug lovers!! This girl really needs some lovin. Pookie was rushed to emergency straight off the truck from Salinas, this doll had a horrible infection in her uterus and we were so lucky that she has pulled through. She’s recovering nicely and showing interest in life and love and FOOD! A slow and gentle girl, she’s fine with other mellow dogs and would thrive in a calm environment. She is about 10 years old and weighs 16 pounds. We want to see her next chapter be filled with love and joy, Pookie girl deserves it!
Pookie’s foster family writes: She is sassy, loves to go for walks and eat (like every other pug I know). She loves other dogs, wags her tail when she meets them. She is super smart, figured out how to use the stairs to get up into our bed and that is where she sleeps, snuggled in next to us. She is deaf, but that does not seem to slow her down. If she wants your attention she gives a little bark. Other than being a little slow due to old age, she is as good as new (except her 10-year old teeth!)
