Pomelo is a doe-eyed knockout rumored to have won Miss Chi America three years in a row. Not that she would brag. She’s a demure sweetheart with fur the color of honey and an attitude to match. Long walks are likely the key to her strong legs. Her good manners with other dogs and humans may be the result of a stint in Swiss boarding school. We don’t know. There’s no question, however, that she is lovely in every sense of the word. Also obvious: She loves a lap. Yours would be perfect.
Here’s some notes from her foster:
Miss Pomelo is a shy lover girl at heart always ready to enjoy a good long cuddle and a nice warm seat on your lap. With some patience and gentleness, she slowly but surely opens up and can easily become your right hand girl.
I think she would definitely benefit from a household with multiple people to provide her love and consistent care, or someone who works from home/retired.
Even though Pomelo is a senior chihuahua, age is but a number, and nothing stops her from being as spry and agile as ever. She is able to jump on the couch with ease, knows how to use doggy/regular stairs, loves to play around with toys and zooms around on walks. Pomelo also does so well with getting a bath and riding in the car!
Pomelo is potty pad trained and has only ever used the pads indoors if need be. She is still learning how to use the bathroom during walks and would possibly benefit from a home with a yard, but also seems to be greatful to be indoors all the time! She is relatively low maintenance and spends her days snoozing away on her beds or the couch with me.
