2-4-6-8, who do we appreciate? Pom Pom! This delightfully round mix of terrier and pit bull looks a bit like a Pom Pom, just with fuzzy white fur instead of a more colorful hue. She has been working hard on the Olympic sport of Skilled Splooting, and her 10 years of diligent practice have finely honed her craft. You might be surprised that a dog built a little bit like a piglet has such flexibility in her hips, but the sploot is Pom Pom’s preferred nap pose. While not splendidly splooting, Miss Pom Pom can be found waddling through Muttville, greeting her canine compatriots with fine manners and the incredible grace you’d expect from such an Olympic athlete. She’s a little bigger than some of our typical mutts, although not too big, so medium dog lovers rejoice – this one’s for you! If you’re interested in cheering for Pom Pom or proudly displaying her shelf full of sploot-focused accolades in your home, come by and see her in action today!

Here are some notes from her foster family!

Pom Pom is a super sweet girl!!

She is a gentle giant who is so unfazed by most things in life, but sooo loving to everyone she meets. She loves to be near us and is happiest when napping and cuddling. She loves observing the world around her. She doesn’t seem to mind loud noises (e.g., vacuum) and is really quiet – the only time we even heard her bark slightly was when we first left and she wanted to check if anyone was still home! She’s very well mannered and seems to be housetrained – she waits to be let outside onto a patch of grass before going potty. Pom Pom enjoys a short walk in the morning and before bed, and may need to be let out to pee briefly in the afternoon. She enjoys going on walks and exploring / observing the world around her, and is super curious when we take her out – she will often stop to smell the roses and take a breather, taking a pause before she gets moving again!

Pom Pom is truly so sweet and gentle and we have fallen in love with having her around the house :) She is so silly and funny, and always eager for your love and affection. She is such a great dog, and will be a lovely addition to your household!!
