Sweet Polly!
We love Polly and know you will too. This girl is the perfect size and temperament for any home. She’s a really loving girl with a soft coat and gets along well with cats, dogs, and kids!
After a week of mourning the surrender by her previous guardian, Polly is blossoming into a playful dog. She enjoys sunbathing in the backyard, playing fetch (prefers squeaking ball to teddy bear) and the daily walk (good on a leash) around the neighborhood. She is such a "thoughtful gal who will wait for my dog to catch up during our walks.
She is also content just relaxing inside the house. Her favorite spots are our bed and a seat on the sofa with a street view. She whimpers a little when I leave her, but doesn’t seem to have a big problem with separation.
Polly doesn’t bark but can be an excellent watchdog and will let us know when our gardener working in the yard or a delivery man is approaching the front door.
Brushing her is easy and well tolerated (she has the softest fur!), as is having her face cleaned daily. She has glaucoma and requires eye drops four times a day, which she takes very well. She is a good eater and loves chicken, hamburgers and eggs. She is 100% potty trained, no accidents!
Polly sleeps with us and is quiet throughout the night. She’s a gentle, polite, and loyal soul who will flourish in a home that provides the love and attention she very much deserves!
