Playbook, a handsome ruffian with zero attitude, has a passion for monkey business, and his vision impairment does not get in the way of his fun. Fully floofed and nicely scruffed, this Cairn Terrier maps out his surroundings with confidence, moving nose-first into friendly encounters with fellow dogs and people along the way. Here’s some notes from his foster:
We’ve had him for a week and despite his vision impairment, he has adapted very well in our home and is now able to navigate without bumping into walls or furniture. We have placed night lights around the house and this has helped with navigation in the evenings. He is smart and intuitive, seemed to learn our routine very quickly. I can already sense that he will be an easy dog to train.
Playbook is house trained and has not had any accidents inside the house. He has a very sweet, gentle personality. His tail wags non stop. It really shows his resilience. Even though he has not had the easiest life, he is still able to express his gratitude and joy, and shows it by giving endless kisses and tail wagging.
Playbook gets very excited when he knows food is coming. He is very thin so we are making sure he eats regular meals – breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Playbook loves naps as much as he loves to eat and take walks. He is the best coworker. While I am working from home, he will sleep in his bed by my desk. He sleeps through the night in his doggie bed next to our bed.
Playbook is loving and friendly, and will make a great pet for anyone who is willing to love him as much as he will love you.
