Hi there! My name is Pixi. I am a 75-pound German Shepherd mix and am currently seven years of age. Due to an unforeseen medical emergency in my family, my owner can no longer take care of me. I have been a cherished member of my family since I was a tiny puppy, and while it’s hard to say goodbye, I am looking for a patient new family who can provide the extra care I need.
About Me
I am a nervous dog and struggle with significant separation anxiety. I also find walks a bit overwhelming, so I’m looking for a home where I can feel safe and secure. I hate it when people ring the doorbell or when delivery trucks drive by the house. I am a high-energy dog, and I haven’t quite mastered my “manners” yet. I’ll need a dedicated adopter who has the time and patience to work with me on training and help me settle into a routine.
Health & Wellness
To keep me feeling my best, I have a specific health regimen that my new family should be prepared for:
•
Specialized Diet: I have a sensitive stomach and stay healthy on Hill’s Prescription Diet z/d (approximately $130.00/month).
•
Daily Medication: I take Tylosin 70mg daily ($0.62/day) to manage my digestive issues.
•
Paw Care: I occasionally experience cellulitis on my paws, which requires a little extra attention and monitoring.
•
Vitals: I am fully up-to-date on all my vaccinations, and my most recent physical checkup was on February 9, 2026.
I would need a family with a flexible schedule and a big heart who understands that I am a “work in progress.” In return, I could be your most loyal companion. Please contact Sophia at (510)599-4764 if interested in rehoming Pixi
This is a courtesy post. Pixi! is not a Muttville dog. If you are interested in adopting Pixi! and want to learn more about her, please contact Sophia at (510)599-4764.
