HERE’S WHAT HIS FOSTER HAS TO SAY!
Pita is a very mellow, sweet, and quiet dog (he doesn’t bark at all, but he has howled a couple of times at night). Although he is a slow mover and does not go far, being outside does perk him up and he comes back indoors more energized and happy. He seems very comfortable around dogs he comes across outside, and it appears that he is well house-trained (no accidents).
He’s a cuddly little guy (and cute like a little Ewok!) that likes to snuggle into tight spaces, against walls, or your legs, and he loves to be pet. He’s great with our 7 year old, and nothing seems to bother him! He has one good eye and may not hear very well; therefore, he can be a bit jumpy or easily surprised when you approach from a blind spot, but wags his tail when he sees you coming at him. Pita wobbles a bit when he walks, and he has a hard time with stairs, but he loves to explore and is comfortable being picked up and carried. He has blossomed so much in the 24 hours we’ve had him, and we can see him responding strongly to some TLC and attention.
