A Pit Stop is usually a short visit on the track but could turn into a much longer cuddle session with this sweet senior chihuahua. Instead of checking your engine and conducting mechanical repairs, Pit Stop wants to check on your emotions and soothe you as needed. This little guy really wants to know how your day has been, so sit down, relax, and tell this tiny, affectionate therapist all about it. The color of a perfectly toasted slice of bread with a uniquely bent nose, Pit Stop is a perfect exemplar of a chihuahua, although you may not be able to see it while he’s snuggled in a blanket like a burrito. He could be YOUR burrito – come make a Pit Stop today!
Here’s some notes from his foster:
Pit Stop is first and foremost a cuddler. This less than 5 pound nugget loves to be held and would be a perfect dog to carry around in a bag everywhere you go. He’s also perfectly content sleeping next to you or in his bed if your hands are full. He is underweight but that is absolutely not from a lack of appetite! He has been eating voraciously and loves every treat. We think he will get his weight up no problem.
He enjoys walks in the park and does well on a leash. He does get tired after a bit and asks to be picked up or carried in a bag. He is getting along well with our other dog, but has shown insecurity and marking behavior. He does stairs no problem, but it seems he would prefer to be carried up them like the prince that he is. He has gotten along with every dog he’s met at the park and even initiated play with some of them. This senior gentleman has tons of love to give and is ready for his next adventure!
