Pisces may be the last sign in the zodiac, but he is the first dog to suggest a party. A sleek min-pin with red tube socks and killer eyebrows, he scoffs at any suggestion that his limited vision should keep him from his passions, which include playing, jumping, exploring, hanging with other dogs, and seeking pets and scritches from humans. His dedication to joy is impressive, as are his youthful agility and fine sense of smell. Come visit! He’ll find you in the crowd.
Here’s some notes from his foster:
Pisces is an amazing little guy and despite being blind, he has been the easiest foster guest we have hosted. Pisces is very quiet and laid back but gets the zoomies once in a while and will even try to chase his tail (don’t tell him, but he doesn’t have a tail!)
Being blind doesn’t stop him from getting around, the only thing he needs help with is the stairs and he is great with being picked up. It only took him a few days to learn our apartment and now he knows exactly where to find his water, his bed, and everything else. He can even get up and down off the couch on his own with no trouble!
Pisces is house trained and knows to go potty when we take him outside (we haven’t had a single accident). He doesn’t really budge when we take him out for walks on the sidewalk, but he loves to sit in the sun and sniff the air outside and when we take him to a grassy area he LOVES to walk around and smell all the smells. He does great when left home alone and will mostly just snooze on the couch or in his bed.
He loves to snuggle up with a soft blanket and will even tuck himself in under the covers! He’s a huge love and enjoys pets, belly rubs, and curling up next to me or my husband on the couch. He sleeps through the night and is equally happy to sleep in the people bed or in his own bed on the floor. Pisces is both cat and dog friendly and I think he would really love to have a doggy sibling. If you’re looking for an easygoing best friend, Pisces is the mutt for you!
