Pinch

Pinch is an ancient Egyptian chi-chi dating back to the fifth millennium BC. We swear there are wall paintings of him, sitting ever so sphinx-like. (And also a few carvings of him curled up in a super-cute ball on a bed of reeds.) He was what the ancient Egyptians called "a pillow fig – their version of a couch potato. But he was quite a sacred animal. He protected his human family from evil spirits; so well, in fact, that he was granted eternal life. Fast forward to Contra Costa, California, second millennium AD. Pinch is still as beautiful and regal and sacred as ever, but he is without a family to protect. Will you be the one?
