We’re hoping to clear the shelters this month, and we don’t think that will be a problem for the adorable Pilar Nino! A sweet older gal, Pilar is a lovely long-haired chihuahua terrier mix with the most soulful puppy dog eyes you’ve ever seen. A head full of tricolor, wiry hair gives this charming senior a most unique hairstyle, with a muzzle coated in white as if she’s just made a snack of a mound of powdered sugar. Pilar doesn’t need to be any sweeter, however, she’s very tolerant of the other dogs and knows when to set up some alone time for her mental peace. Nothing would delight her more than cuddling in your lap for a snuggle, so please come for some cuddles!
Here’s some notes from her foster:
Nino is a little gal but big in heart. She’s very friendly and well trained (knows to pee on a pee pad, might be off leash trained – I haven’t fully tested this part but she usually walks close to my feet, looks back at me if she walks ahead and responds to commands to come over). She enjoys walks but likes to go at her own pace. She’d do well with someone who isn’t super active. She can be left home alone but needs to be settled beforehand.
