Piggly Wiggly is the most appropriately named dog. He is pure joyous wiggles. His bum is like the end of a firetruck, it seems to move independent of the rest of his body. He loves to have his bum scratched, so he will do “drive-bys”: he will go in circles and then gently bump your shin to show his bum is ready to receive some well deserved scratches. It’s adorable. He also does a very cute dance for his dinner and knows he needs to sit in order to get his food. He has a great appetite and is food motivated.
He is good with strangers as long as they let him approach them first. He is very cuddly and loves to lay between us while we watch tv. This boy is a very energetic senior and loves to go for long walks. He’s not a fan of other dogs, so he may snarf at ones we see on our walks, but it’s not excessive. He is house trained. He is fine being left alone but will bark at noises that he hears, then quiet down. He has a lot of energy that benefits from some guidance and direction. He is a smart dog that wants to be told the plan so he can follow it and be a good boy.
