Pesto in an awesome little senior pup who can’t wait to join your family!
This happy-go-lucky boy is great with other dogs, loves going for walks, and seems to always have his tail wagging. High bright and loving personality is sure to win you over!
Pesto is estimated to be 11 years old and weighs 8.5lbs.
Here’s what his fosters have to say about him:
Pesto is quiet but warms up quickly to people. He is friendly & loves giving kisses! He is silly after he warms up, he rolls around on carpet/blankets when he’s happy to see you and he loves to play fetch. Pesto is pretty Mellow but he’s up for some fun or also down to nap & lounge on the couch. He likes to stroll around the block 20-30 minute), 2-3 times a day. We have two other dogs and they all get along great! He has been found on the bed with the other dogs at least once a day. He’s great with other animals! He’s open to sniffing and moving on. Pesto has had a few accidents but he’s improved with regularly timed walks. Pesto enjoys playing fetch (on the carpet & on blankets) he tosses the ball up in the air and “hides” it in the covers only to find it seconds later with a lot of enthusiasm. He is an easy dog to care for and has nothing but love to give!"
Pesto is a very sweet, quiet, & mellow guy! He loves to cuddle & give kisses. He follows me around the house & is quick to curl up next to me. He loves to snuggle in blankets & does well sleeping in his crate next to his foster sister. He also has a spunky silly side & loves squeaky toys. He wants nothing more than love & a warm lap! Pesto is very low key & spends most of his days napping. He does get bursts of energy & loves chasing his toys around. Pesto is very well mannered around other dogs. He is friendly to all dogs that we encounter. If I am home and let him out regularly, he has no accidents. I leave out potty pads when I am at work & he is starting to use them. Pesto loves food, he gets so excited for his treat after going potty outside. He is such a gentle, loving, and mellow dog. He truly makes the perfect pet. He loves to nap anywhere that he can find a soft blanket, sweatshirt, or lap. Pesto is the perfect Netflix partner!
Due to Pesto’s advanced age, and epilepsy, he is available for adoption through Muttville’s hospice care program.
