Yes, you read that right, my closest estimate of breed for this dog is Bulldog and Lhasa Apso. Perla snorts and snores and waddles like a Bulldog, yet she has a coat and face like a Lhasa. I love Perla, she has truly charmed me after a rocky start. She failed her behavior assessment but I felt that she needed a chance to get used to her surroundings. She had been matted to the core with terrible ear infections and super long nails. After that was taken care of, her tail started wagging and she smiled!!! She has become a real love chub. Perla is slow and deliberate on walks, she gets along great with other dogs and seems to have already started to enjoy herself. She will blossom even more, I am sure.
We think she is 7 years old and she weighs 34 pounds.
