Meet Periwinkle, the happiest fluffy potato you will ever encounter! Periwinkle boasts so many lovely features, including her gorgeous tail which is always wagging, her contagious smile, and her bent furry ears. Periwinkle is a Spaniel-Pomeranian mix who is looking for a family that is extra generous with their love and care and perhaps a little less generous when it comes to treats. She would also love a companion that could help her get her steps in via regular walks. Periwinkle would be happy to share her new human(s) with other dogs as well and is simply put a wholesome loaf of love that will be an awesome addition to any family.
Here’s some notes from her foster:
An absolute dumpling of a girl! Although marvelously rotund, Periwinkle is quite happy to walk. She’s also happy to take a break to greet people along our way. Greeting other dogs is easy and if they get a little too pushy with her, she’s not shy about speaking up about it.
I had underestimated her and I have apologized since, but she can definitely take on a set of stairs going up. Down seems a little intimidating, so I’m still getting a mini-workout of potato transport.
She is definitely house trained and enjoys finding a nice patch of grass to do her business in. A little grooming should be in her future, as her pretty hair tends to drag a bit on the ground. She really likes being brushed and belly brushes are particularly nice. my pittie Shadow has also decided this is a nice thing too, altho he’s short haired, her enthusiasm I suppose has inspired him.
But she’s very happy girl who likes to know what’s going on. She snoozes in the window in the day, and curls up close at night.
