Meet Peewee, the little bundle of joy you’ve been waiting for! This sweet Cockapoo is as cute as a button and as friendly as can be. With his soft curls and soulful eyes, he’s ready to melt your heart in an instant. Peewee loves making new doggy friends and will happily trot along on little adventures by your side. He’s the perfect mix of playful and cuddly—one minute he’s wagging his tail, the next he’s snuggled up for a cozy nap. Whether it’s belly rubs, treats, or just being your loyal companion, Peewee is all in!
Here’s some notes from his foster:
Peewee has been the most perfect sweet baby angel!! He looks like a puppy or a mini golden and he is just simply the cutest!! He seems to be house trained for the most part and only does his business while on leash. I think it might take him a bit to figure out where to go to let you know he has to go out due to the vision impairment, but seems to be fairly regular when he needs to go – right when he wakes up, middle of the day, around dinner and then sometimes before bed.
It took him a couple days to settle in and get comfy but now that he’s more familiar with us and the house he seems right at home. Sometimes he seems a little nervous but usually calms down if we sit with him and pet him.
He does not enjoy car rides it seems to stress him out, he does enjoy walks and really likes meeting dogs at the park; his little tail starts going and he gets so excited about new friends! We think he would do well in a home with another dog friend to help him settle into new surroundings.
He is also very confident on walks, sometimes a bit too confident as he has a hard time seeing the curb, bike racks, any changes in the sidewalk, etc. so he sometimes trips or bumps into things but remains unfazed and keeps going along in his happy little trots.
We have a cat at home and it took him a few days to notice him, but now that he has sniffed him out, he just wants to be friends. Peewee has been nothing but a happy little guy so we think he would do fine in a home with other pets and/or kids.
We have only heard him bark/howl a few times and it was only when he was trying to get comfy and making his nest. We left him home by himself for a few hours and our neighbors didn’t hear him make any noise and when we got home he had himself all tucked in his bed fast asleep.
