Don’t blink, you might miss this gentle little ghost of love. Peek a Boo may have a little trouble seeing the world clearly, but she feels every bit of kindness around her. With vision that’s more “abstract art” than HD, she moves through life at her own pace: slow strolls, soft landings, and lots of lounging. Patience is the key to her heart, and once you unlock it? You’ve got a snugglebug for life. Sweet, serene, and surprisingly sassy when the mood hits, she’s the perfect companion for anyone who appreciates the quieter things in life.
Here’s some notes from her foster:
Peek A Boo is as sweet as they come! She is an easy-going, loving, and mellow gal. She does great with my two pups and doesn’t have any aggression. She will only sometimes bark if she sees a dog when out on a walk, but quickly moves on. She needs to lose a fair amount of weight, so we have been doing short strolls which she really enjoys. She isn’t able to keep up with my two pups, so I put her in a stroller for part of the way and she does great with it.
She is unable to do stairs and has a hard time with curbs, so she’ll need to be picked up or carried. Peek A Boo continues to work on solidifying her potty training. I let her out every few hours. However, she is able to hold it overnight. In fact, she sleeps in until I get up in the morning! If I have to leave for a few hours I keep her in a pop-up playpen- she doesn’t have any accidents in there. Then once I get home I let her out right away. I don’t have a yard, but when I brought her to my mom’s house she loved the backyard. We left the door open, and she let herself out when she needed to potty. So while a backyard isn’t necessary, it would definitely be a bonus!
Peek A Boo loves a good squeaky toy, she is so cute when she plays with them! When I am doing work on my computer, she happily relaxes in her bed. When she’s not napping, she likes to follow me from room to room to see what I’m up to, look for something to rummage through, and supervise me while I’m in the kitchen. She does great when I have to leave- I watch her on my doggie cam and she is calm and doesn’t make a peep. She also does great in the car. One of my favorite things she does is whenever she sees her reflection in a mirror or glass, she stops to look at herself. It is so silly and precious!
I absolutely adore Peek A Boo and she deserves all of the pampering and love in the world.
